歷經十餘年後，最近 Apache Ambari 專案或因沒人願意參與開發而將被“雪藏”。
近日，Cloudera 工程師、Apache Ambari PMC 主席 Jayush Luniya 在傳送給 Ambari 社群名為《[VOTE] Move Apache Ambari to Attic》的郵件中提議：將 Apache Ambari 專案移至到“Attic” —— 擱置該專案，不再開發。
該郵件原文：
“Following the process outlined here, https://attic.apache.org/proc...,I'm calling a vote to move Apache Ambari to the Attic. Over the past 2 years we were only able to make one Ambari release (2.7.6) and most of the committers and PMC members haven't been actively involved in the project.It was great working with everyone of you and while I am sad to move upstairs to the attic, I believe it is time to move on.
This vote will close 72 houlis from now.
+1 from me to move to the attic.”
郵件中，Jayush Luniya 表示：由於在過去的2 年裡，他們只發布了一個 Ambari 版本(2.7.6)，大多數提交者和 PMC 成員都沒有積極參與到這個專案中來。因此他提議，“以投票的方式決定是否將 Apache Ambari 轉移至‘閣樓’”。
據悉，此次投票活動持續了 72 小時，在該投票郵件釋出後的兩個小時內，就獲得了所有開發者的“全票通過”。
目前， Apache 官方已退役專案清單中暫未發現 Apache Ambari 專案的名字，如果該提議通過“審批”之後，或將成為 2022 年首個退役的 Apahce 專案。
