Management Pack for Oracle GoldenGate - Version 12.1.2.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

SYMPTOMS

Some connection tests fail for certain GoldenGate Servers from the GoldenGate Admin Client. For those that fail, eventually the following errors are returned:

Connection check failed:RemoteException - Transaction Rolledback.; nested exception is:   weblogic.transaction.internal.TimedOutException: Transaction timed out after 60 seconds BEA1-5083E787B7CFF30FDCA3

CAUSE

This issue is caused due to Firewall/connection issue.

SOLUTION

Update the Data Source for the local host to an IP address which will sent the connection requests to the network but make sure that there is no firewall or that all of the ports in the MGR's DYNAMICPORTLIST are open through the firewall.
