Vendor Sub-Ranges(VSRs)在SAP中的解釋為

A subdivision of the full range of products offered by a vendor (e.g. the Henkel company has the subranges "adhesives" and "washing powder").

Individual conditions apply for each individual subrange. If a vendor has subranges, each item offered by the vendor must be assigned to the appropriate subrange to enable the system to correctly determine the conditions for the subrange.

舉個例子，如果建立了一個叫做HP的供貨商，會向其採購印表機和筆記本，但是印表機和筆記本這兩種物料在採購過程中有很多不同，比如生產的工廠不同，比如付款的條件不同，等等。理論上這都屬於HP這個vendor，那麼為了在採購中有所區別，可以為vendor主資料建立sub-range  每一個sub-range可以維護不同的purchasing和partner資料。

 

首先，account group必須支援Sub-range。另外，Partner Schema sub-range也可以進行相關設定，這裡是控制sub-range可以選擇的partner role的

其次，建立一個演示用的vendor，對其建立sub-range（之後在purchasing相關資料編輯中，有一個sub-range的按鈕，點選以後可以建立sub-range）

我們建立兩個sub-range

之後點選alternative data會提示我們並沒有資料被建立，我們選擇Yes建立sub-range的資料

其中在popup中會有checkbox讓我們選擇，哪些資料需要被建立。

我們對不同的sub-range設定不同的Order address

之後，假設有兩個物料，分別屬於此vendor的兩個sub-range。則為他們建立Info. record時，可以指定sub-range。

這樣在建立PO的時候，就會自動帶入，purchasing data以及partner等都會不同。這樣sub-range便完成了對vendor的分隔。如果對order address方有confirm letter等發出，則系統會自動分辨。另外，condition價格配置方面，也可應用sub-range
