SAP MM 儲存條件 - Room Temperature Vs Ambient

 

不言自明，SAP專案裡，物料主資料是一個很重要的核心基礎主資料。

 

在物料主資料中，有一個欄位叫做storage condition,中文意思是’儲存條件’。 這個欄位對於很多行業，並不是什麼特別重要的欄位，這些行業裡可能都不用這個欄位。但是對於一些特殊行業比如製藥，化妝品，飲料，食品等行業裡，storage condition則是一個不可以忽視的重要欄位。

 

筆者現在所在的專案是一個製藥行業的global rollout專案。在客戶的global template裡，物料主資料裡的storage condition欄位，在專案裡成為反覆討論的欄位，一些GAP也與storage condition欄位有關。

 

在客戶工廠裡有一些物料的儲存條件是18-26攝氏度，而在客戶總部的global template裡定義的儲存條件裡，有18-25攝氏度的，卻無18-26攝氏度這種儲存條件。按一般rollout專案的套路，這是一個GAP，需要定義一個新的storage condition。但是問題是客戶美國總部對於GAP的控制極其嚴格，不是法律明文規定的新需求，絕對不承認是GAP， 一般都是儘可能將global template裡定義的東西，在工廠裡推廣。

 

經查，客戶global template裡定義2個Storage condition, AM – Ambient 中文意思是常溫；另一個人是RT(room temperature),中文意思是室溫。它們都可以用於業務團隊裡的18-26攝氏度的儲存條件。

問題是，為什麼global template裡會有這2個儲存條件的定義? 為了弄清楚這2者的區別，筆者上網查資料，在百度百科裡得到如下資訊：“

室溫 也稱為常溫或者一般溫度， 一般定義為25攝氏度。

常溫 也叫一般溫度或者室溫，一般定義為25℃。在藥品行業裡，常溫指10-30度，進口的也有指15-25度範圍的。 “

 

中文版的解釋裡，室溫就是常溫，常溫就是室溫。尼瑪，一個意思，為什麼會定義二個storage condition呢？莫非客戶美國總部的人傻了？ 我把我的疑問與客戶APAC團隊的對口的CoE(就是客戶內部的實施顧問)做了溝通，對方建議我查查英文版的Ambient和room temperature。

 

我就在BING（國際版）裡查詢了，發現了所謂的Ambient和room temperature還是有區別的：ambient temperature refers to the current air temperature —the overall temperature of the outdoor air that surrounds us. In other words, ambient air temperature is the same thing as "ordinary" air temperature. When indoors , ambient temperature is sometimes called ‘room temperature’. 我明白了global template裡設定了2個代表常溫的storage condition的原因了！ 對於客戶的倉庫部門而言，storage condition RT（room temperature）比 AM（Ambient）更為合適一點。

 

Global rollout SAP 專案實踐中，local顧問去學習與理解客戶的global template的時候，還是得要從global的角度，對於global template裡的一些術語的理解也要從英文而非local語言（比如中文）的角度去理解，這樣才能更好的理解global template。
