MT8193 Design Notice

MT8193 is a companion chip with 130nm process for tablet. It consists of HDMI TX, LCD interface

with LVDS or RGB, 26MHz DCXO and clock buffer, MLC NAND with 60-bit ECC .

– HDMI 1.3

– Support DTV (480p/576p/720p/1080p25/1080p30) resolutions

– Support deep color 10bit/12bit with dither

– Support 2-channel 48KHz I2S inputs

– 8-bit dual edge YC422 digital pixel data interface

▪ LCD

– Support 10-wire LVDS, resolution up to 1280x800

– Support 18/24-bit RGB ouput, resolution up to 800x480

– 2-bit dual edge digital pixel data interface

▪ DCXO

– 26MHz input

– 3 channel buffer output

▪ NAND

– support MLC NAND Flash with 60bits ECC

▪ Interface with MT8389

– IIC\INT\RESET\CK_SEL\EN_BB\32K

Power on sequence：

MT8193 needs four power which include 1.8V,1.2V,3.3V and 2.8V from MT6320,power on sequence follow MT6320
