工業測量儀表儀器中的核心，就是採用何種測量源。 透過確定的測量源，再選擇合適的感測器等 ; 後期選擇合適的演算法，透過軟體開發後形成了完成的產品。今天主要介紹一下RGI（Real Good Idea）的源控制器Decon 21, 官網的介紹如下：BARCON 21 is a processor-controlled evaluation unit for determining limit levels in closed containers, which forms in combination with a radiation source and a detector a complete measuring system, 簡單地說，就是一個發射源+一個接收源，再加這個控制器就形成了測量的硬體核心。Baron 21支援熱插拔的（右邊是控制器）。
Barcon 21, 有一個發射源 ABS80, 它是密封在一個充滿鉛的鋼殼中，挺醜的。如下圖， 這個灰分儀，核子稱重儀，鉀測儀等必不可少的。這個東西在中國， 也是嚴格管制生產的。 但 這個是可以民用的，像鈉源等。
