一個jive的安裝問題，整整困了我5天.請大家幫忙解決

我安裝的jivedon的版本是2.5,我用的tomcat5.0+mysql4.1,我一路上下來,安裝安裝的提示,都沒有錯誤,可是到了安裝測試的第3步,測試資料庫連線的時候，提示出錯:資料庫連線不能建立。開啟日誌檔案"jiveHome\logs\DefaultConnectionProvider.log" 檢視錯誤資訊然後返回修正錯誤。日誌裡訊息:--->Attempt (1 of 5) failed to create new connections set at startup:
java.sql.SQLException: Communication failure during handshake. Is there a server running on localhost:3306?
Will try again in 10 seconds...
--->Attempt (2 of 5) failed to create new connections set at startup:
java.sql.SQLException: Communication failure during handshake. Is there a server running on localhost:3306?
我在mysql下,show tables;能顯示出所有的表,就是不知道為什麼不能連線上mysql,寫了個測試的jsp檔案,證明是可以連線資料庫的.
真的不知道是為什麼,請大家幫忙解決,多謝!
