Oracle Secure Backup在Linux下的安裝
在學習RMAN的時候，看到Oracle Secure Backup也可以備份資料，就順便學習學習




Oracle Secure Backup是Oracle公司推出的備份產品, 有Oracle Secure Backup和Oracle Secure Backup Express兩個版本, 目前支援Windows, Linux(x86), Solaris(Sparc)三個平臺. 其中Oracle Secure Backup Express可備份1臺機器上的資料庫和檔案系統, 也僅支援1個磁帶機, 只要有Oracle資料庫的授權就可以使用. Oracle Secure Backup則可以支援多臺伺服器, 多臺磁帶機和磁帶庫, 但是需要額外的授權.Oracle Secure Backup Express用來替換 Legato Storage Manager (LSM) 和 Legato Single Server Version (LSSV). 下面介紹Oracle Secure Backup在Linux下的安裝:


要安裝oracle安全備份軟體，必須執行以下步驟： 
(1)、以 root 使用者身份執行以下命令，建立 OSB 主目錄: 
mkdir -p /usr/local/oracle/backup 
(2)、瀏覽至您的 OSB 主目錄：
cd /usr/local/oracle/backup 
(3)、確保提供瞭解壓縮實用程式：
ln -s /bin/gunzip /bin/uncompress 
(4)、在您的 OSB 主目錄中，以 root 使用者身份啟動 Oracle 安全備份的安裝。  
/u01/osb-10.4.0.3.0_linux.x64_release/setup

  109. the /dev/sg devices for attach points as described in the \'ReadMe\'

安裝完成後，可以在網頁中輸入：https://hostname 對oracle secure backup 進行控制。登入的使用者名稱是admin 密碼是在安裝時輸入的密碼




總結：花了一天的時間從oracle官網上下載完osb，安裝之後才發現Oracle Secure Backup does not have native virtual tape support.不支援到磁碟的備份。不過，沒關係，學習嘛。
