1. 整體測試：

        這是一套功能強大的系統分析評比工具，擁有超過30種以上的分析與測試模組，
        主要包括有CPU、Drives、CD-ROM/DVD、Memory、SCSI、APM/ACPI、滑鼠、鍵盤、網路、主機板、印表機等，
        還有CPU、Drives、CD-ROM/DVD、Memory的Benchmark工具，它還可將分析結果報告列表存檔。
        可惜，並沒有在這個軟體中找到檢視硬碟cache的地方。

        EVEREST（原名AIDA32）一個測試軟硬體系統資訊的工具，它可以詳細的顯示出PC每一個方面的資訊。
        支援上千種(3400+)主機板，支援上百種(360+)顯示卡，支援對並口/串列埠/USB這些PNP裝置的檢測，
        支援對各式各樣的處理器的偵測。新版增加檢視遠端系統資訊和管理，結果匯出為HTML、XML功能。
        這個軟體不錯，可以很清楚的看到硬碟的cache和其它詳細資訊。而且是綠色軟體，免安裝。

2. CPU測試：
1. WCPUID

        WCPUID 是一個監視 CPU 晶片組資訊的工具軟體，
        這些資訊包括：CPU 名稱、內/外部頻率、倍頻數、生產廠商、內部和外部時鐘、
        MMX/3D-Now!/SSE(KNI)擴充套件指令集的支援情況、晶片組的相關資訊等。
        該軟體還可以測出主機板 BIOS 資訊，可以判斷 CPU 是否被超頻使用。
        支援各家廠商的各式新舊CPU，為硬體玩家計算機中必備的工具程式之一。

2. CPU-Z

        CPU-Z是一款提供詳盡CPU資訊的工具，通過它你可以看到處理器最真實的一面，
        這些資訊包括：CPU 名稱、廠商；核心程式；核心構造及封裝技術，內部、外部頻率，
        最大超頻速度偵測，也可以查出處理器相關可使用的指令集。
        可偵測處理器的核心電壓、匯流排頻寬、XP/2K環境下的雙處理器模式偵測，及記憶體時脈；
        區域性時鐘監測等。程式檔案K數不大，可謂短小精悍。
        該軟體可以測出 CPU 實際設計的 FSB 頻率和倍頻，對於超頻使用的CPU可以進行判斷。
        特徵：
        1.鑑定處理器的類別及名稱。
        2.探測CPU的核心頻率以及倍頻指數。
        3.探測處理器的核心電壓、真實的倍頻與外頻。
        4.超頻可能性探測（指出CPU是否被超過頻，但不一定完全正確）。
        5.探測處理器所支援的指令集。
        6.探測處理器一、二級快取資訊，包括快取位置、大小、速度等。

4. SuperPi

        Super π是一款計算圓周率的軟體，但它更適合用來測試CPU的穩定性。
        即使你的系統執行一天的 Word、Photoshop 都沒有問題，而執行Super PI 也不一定能通過。
        可以說，Super π可以作為判斷CPU 穩定性的依據。
        使用方法：選擇你要計算的位數，（一般採用104萬位）點選開始就可以了。
        視系統效能不同，運算時間也不相同。當然是時間越短越好!

5. prime95

        Prime95 的正式功能是用來估計分散式計算程式的通訊情況，
        但它還有一個稱為“Torture Test”的功能。
        這一選項的結果是把負荷高得有點離譜的工作量載入在 CPU 身上，以此來考驗 CPU 的承受能力。
        這一測試因其可以發現其他測試程式無法發現的穩定性問題而備受關注，
        更加被許多專業的計算機 OEM 製造商用來確定計算機的穩定性。

        Memtest86 詳盡的記憶體測試程式
        這個記憶體測試程式能找出一般電腦開機時 BIOS 記憶體測試所找不出的錯誤。
        有故障的記憶體可是會導致不明原因的當機，如果你的電腦常莫名當機，有可能是記憶體在作怪。
        Memtest86此記憶體檢測程式，讓你對 x86架構電腦上的記憶體做完整、詳細的測試，
        這可比電腦啟動時 BIOS的記憶體測試要詳細許多。
        程式需要以軟盤開機，因此不論你的作業系統為何，都可以執行 Memtest86 進行測試。
        Memtest86 安裝和其他程式有不同之處。
        放入空白軟盤到電腦中，解壓縮後執行[install.bat]，指定軟盤位置，安裝完成後再以這軟盤開機，

            DiscWizard Starter Edition支援兩種方式的Zero Fill Drive
            1. Zero Fill Drive (Quick)
                Zero Fill Drive (Quick) will write over the beginning of the drive which includes
                the critical partition information, eliminating all partitions and information on
                the drive including the Master boot record. This is useful if you have a drive that
                has a corrupted partition or that you wish to erase to reinstalll a fresh operating
                system and new data.

            2. Zero Fill Drive (Full) (相當於低格)
                Zero Fill Drive (Full) will write over the entire data area of the drive.
                This is useful if a drive has bad sectors that cannot be fixed by the operating system.
                This will also erase all the data on the drive, but it will take several hours.

When the process completes, reboot the system from the operating system install CD and
follow the instructions to prepare (partition and format) the drive and install the operating system.

4. 一次修復希捷硬碟的經歷：
1. 先使用SeaTools檢查是否有壞區。

2. 多次使用DiscWizard的Zero Fill Drive (Full)功能修復硬碟，直到SeaTools檢查不出有壞區。

3. 最後發現硬碟產生壞區的原因是由於顯示卡風扇短路發熱，導致機箱內溫度過高。

            Maxtor官方釋出的硬碟檢測軟體，適用於全部的Maxtor/Quantum系列硬碟，
            可以讓使用者及早發現硬碟的隱患，例如壞道、壞扇區、分割槽格式化錯誤等等，
            也可以解決硬碟不能被作業系統正確識別的問題。
            注意：這個版本依然存在一些不足：
            1.不能檢測到nVIDIA nForce3/nForce4晶片組主機板上連線的ATA裝置。
            2.不能檢測到通過植入或外接RAID控制器連線的PATA和SATA裝置。
