VMware Cloud Foundation 環境中，軟體包倉庫的來源支援兩種方式，分別是 Online Depot 和 Offline Depot。第一種方式，是在 VCF 環境能夠連線網際網路的情況下，僅需要配置賬號密碼後，就可以直接從 VMware 官方線上儲存庫獲取軟體包；第二種方式，是在 VCF 環境不能連線網際網路的情況下，透過在本地搭建一個 Web 伺服器並搭配 Offline Bundle Transfer Utility（OBTU）工具來作為 VCF 環境的離線/離線儲存庫。
線上倉庫的方式固然非常方便，但是，往往很多環境因為各種原因無法連線網際網路，這時候就只能使用離線倉庫了。VMware 針對 VCF 環境推出了一種配置離線倉庫的方式，這在很大程度上能為客戶提供便利性，特別是環境中具有多個 VCF 例項的場景。你只需在本地找一臺能夠連線網際網路的 Linux 伺服器並配置為 Web 伺服器，然後使用 Offline Bundle Transfer Utility（OBTU）工具將 VCF 相關軟體包下載到這個伺服器內，最後再到 SDDC Manager 中配置離線庫後，就能實現與線上倉庫一樣的效果。說到這裡，你是不是會發現這跟 vSphere 環境中 Update Manager Download Service（UMDS） 的使用方式非常相似？！
當然，上面這種 OBTU + Web 伺服器來作為 VCF 的離線庫只是一種使用方式，你依然可以透過以下方式去手動下載離線軟體包，然後再手動上傳至 SDDC Manager，來完成元件的生命週期管理。不過這還是比較麻煩，所以，下面我將演示如何去準備一個 OBTU 伺服器來配置作為 VCF 環境的離線庫。

一、準備 OBTU 伺服器
此次環境準備了一臺基於 CentOS 發行版的 OBTU 伺服器用於作為 VCF 環境的離線儲存庫。

二、安裝 Apache 伺服器
使用 YUM 安裝 Apache 伺服器，注意需要同時安裝 mod_ssl 模組。

三、配置 Apache 伺服器
建立用於向 Web 伺服器進行身份驗證的使用者，使用者名稱是depot，密碼是vmware。生成 OBTU 伺服器的 SSL 自簽名證書。

四、下載 VCF 軟體包
完成 Web 伺服器的相關配置後，現在需要下載 VCF 環境所使用的軟體包。透過 Broadcom 支援門戶下載最新的 OBTU 工具包（lcm-tools-prod.tar.gz），然後上傳到 OBTU 伺服器並解壓，可以透過 --help 選項檢視 OBTU 工具的使用幫助。

五、配置 VCF 離線庫
登陸 SDDC Manager UI，導航到管理->庫設定，VMware Cloud Foundation 5.2 及之後的版本可以在這裡進行離線庫設定。如果是 VMware Cloud Foundation 5.1 及之前的版本，請參考文章開頭提到的知識庫和部落格文章，瞭解具體操作步驟。
點選“離線庫”中的設定，填入 OBTU 伺服器的地址等資訊，然後完成設定。
離線庫設定成功。
稍等片刻後，導航到生命週期管理->包管理，你應該能看到離線庫中所有可用的軟體包。參考文章“更新 VCF 5.1 至 VCF 5.2 版本。”或“獨立更新 SDDC Manager 元件的版本。”執行後續操作。
