關於Office Online Server

Office Online Server是Office Server產品，提供了基於瀏覽器的用於Office檔案的檢視編輯功能。Office Online Server同支援WOPI (Web app Open Platform Interface protocol)的產品和服務工作。這些作為宿主的產品包括SharePoint Server和Exchange Server。一個Office Online Server場可以為多個本地宿主提供Office服務，我們還可以隨著企業的發展需要將場從一個伺服器擴充套件到多個伺服器。Office Online Server需要安裝在不執行其他伺服器應用程式的專用伺服器上，因此如果有必要我們可以安裝在虛擬機器上。
藉助Office Online Server，使用者可以檢視或編輯儲存在SharePoint Server之外的Office文件，如共享資料夾或其他網站的文件。這個功能由Online Viewers提供。

SharePoint Server如何使用Office Online Server來檢視和編輯Office文件

在Office Online Server跟SharePoint Server 2016一起使用時，它提供的元件有Word Online、Excel Online、PowerPoint Online和OneNote Online。使用者可以通過電腦中支援的Web瀏覽器和多種移動裝置上 (如Windows Phone、iPhones、iPads和Windows tablets)檢視和編輯在SharePoint庫中的Office文件。

當Exchange Server配置為使用Office Online Server時，Outlook Web App的使用者可以藉助Word Online、Excel Online和PowerPoint Online來預覽Office文件附件。這些預覽功能提供了豐富且全真的Office文件檢視功能，同時可以檢視文件內的註釋內容，不再需要先把文件下載下來再檢視了。
預設情況下，使用Office Online Server顯示以下檔案型別：

Word文件 (doc、docx、dotx、dot、dotm擴充套件)
Excel文件 (xls、xlsx、xlsm、xlm、xlsb擴充套件)
PowerPoint文件 (ppt、pptx、pps、ppsx、potx、pot、pptm、potm、ppsm擴充套件)
注意：Office Online Server無法用於任何受IRM保護的郵件附件。
Office Online的附件預覽整合對所有Exchange Online客戶可用。Exchange本地客戶需要部署Office Online Server來啟用該功能。

Office Online Server如何通過Online Viewers使使用者能夠檢視共享資料夾和其他網站中的Office文件

Online Viewers使使用者能夠使用web瀏覽器來檢視儲存在企業的Web伺服器或共享目錄中的Excel、PowerPoint和Word文件。使用者可以方便地在Web瀏覽器中檢視文件而不需要開啟單獨的應用。而且，Online Viewers不需要使用者在他們自己的電腦中安裝Office。Online Viewers還可以生成需要在網頁中連結或嵌入URL的程式碼。我們可以在內網或因特網上使用Online Viewers。

通過它我們可以生成連結到可公開訪問的具有UNC或URL的文件。當使用者選擇生成URL，Online Viewers可以讓Office Online Server能夠從檔案的位置獲取到它，然後使用Office Online將它渲染出來。使用者可以在瀏覽器中檢視具有Office完整功能的Word、Excel或PowerPoint文件。Word文件中的格式和佈局被保留，Excel中的資料可以進行過濾和排序，PowerPoint中的動畫也可以播放。但是Online Viewers只允許使用者檢視文件而不是編輯，並且它不能開啟需要認證的文件。
