vmware-tools安裝

1.
VM--&gtsettings--&gt此時就會有把VMware-tools檔案映像到CD－ROM中
2.
cp VMwareTools-6.0.2-59824.tar.gz /tmp
cd /tmp
--檔案解壓拆包到目錄vmware-tools-distrib
tar zxvf VMwareTools-6.0.2-59824.tar.gz
3.
--切換到單使用者模式
init 1
--切換根使用者
su -
cd vmware-tools-distrib
./vmware-install.pl
./bin/vmware-config-tools.pl
4.
--重啟
init 6
--或直接進入圖形介面
startx
開終端執行如下命令啟用vmware tools:
/usr/bin/vmware-toolbox

安裝過程遇到的問題：
　　主機：win xp sp2 虛擬機器：VMWARE GSX 在其上安裝AS4。
　　現象：能夠進入圖形介面，但是總是提示沒有安裝VMWARE Tools。具體如下：
一.安裝過程報如下錯誤:
>su - root
>./tmp/vmware-tools-distrib/vmware-install.pl
　　In which directory do you want to install the binary files?
　　[/usr/bin]
　　What is the directory that contains the init directories (rc0.d/ to rc6.d/)?
　　[/etc/rc.d]
　　What is the directory that contains the init scripts?

　　In which directory do you want to install the library files?
　　[/usr/lib/vmware-tools]

二.原因：沒有配置該工具。vmware-config-tools.pl需要根據你的顯示器解析度進行配置，然後才能加強滑鼠功能。
　　解決：需要進行如下操作：
　　#init 1（保證在超級使用者模式下，進入文字介面）
　　然後輸入
　　login：root
　　password：
　 再次執行vmware-config-tools.pl
　　然後根據提示設定，完成後輸入>init 6
reboot一下就可以完成了。

啟動級別:
init 0：停機
init 1：單使用者形式，只root進行維護
init 2：多使用者，不能使用net file system
init 3：完全多使用者 (字元模式)
init 5：圖形化
init 6：重啟

後記:
安裝vmware-tools的最初目的是使用檔案共享功能,
安裝完成後滑鼠能自動切換,但vmware GSX--&gtVM--&gtSettings--&gtOptions裡面卻沒有share folder,在網上查的都是workstation配置有明確有該選項,有幾個都問為什麼GSX中沒有,也沒有解答,不知道是不是GSX沒有提供該功能.
