104-Maximum Depth of Binary Tree

kevin聰發表於2018-04-25

Description

Given a binary tree, find its maximum depth.

The maximum depth is the number of nodes along the longest path from the root node down to the farthest leaf node.

Note: A leaf is a node with no children.

Example:
Given binary tree [3,9,20,null,null,15,7],

    3
   / \
  9  20
    /  \
   15   7

return its depth = 3.

問題描述

給定二叉樹, 返回它的最大深度。

最大深度指根節點到葉節點的最長路徑的節點個數。

解法

/**
 * Definition for a binary tree node.
 * public class TreeNode {
 *     int val;
 *     TreeNode left;
 *     TreeNode right;
 *     TreeNode(int x) { val = x; }
 * }
 */
class Solution {
    public int maxDepth(TreeNode root) {
        if(root == null) return 0;

        return 1 + Math.max(maxDepth(root.left),maxDepth(root.right));
    }
}
