Intel core 2 QX6600 CPU中文名
QX 是一款 Intel Extreme 版處理器，具有解鎖的倍頻，並且在釋出時是最快的。雙核和四核的非 X 型號實際上在工作站系列中沒有任何作用，除了以更高的速度執行。
自從 Q6600 釋出後，QX600 已不再生產，並由更新、更快的型號取代。
Extreme 版本的處理器也具有解鎖的倍頻，用於超頻，但工作站（PWS）沒有超頻選項，所以實際上沒有必要。
在正常速度下，QX6600 和 Q6600 的效能是相同的，而我所說的正常速度僅指 QX6600 沒有進行超頻。超頻後，QX6600 很容易執行在 3.2GHz，很多還可以跑得更快。

The non X models of dual, and quad actually does nothing in the workstation line except run at the higher speeds.
Since the q6600 came out the qx600 is no made and replaced by newer faster models.
The eXtremes are also multiplier unlocked for overclocking but the PWS have no OC options so it is really not needed.
In normal speeds the qx6600 and q6600 are equal in performance and by normal speeds I just mean the qx6600 is not overclocked. Overclocked the qx6600 easily runs at 3.2GHz and a lot run faster.
