9.2.0.4 升級到10.2.0.5升級後 Oracle Ultra Search 元件NO SCRIPT

1.  Check whether Oracle Ultra Search has been installed:

• invoke runinstaller and then click on the Installed Products button.
  
• $ opatch lsinventory -detail

2.  Install the Oracle Ultra Search option from the companion directory located on the 10.2.0 Oracle Data Server DVD or download it from OTN or edelivery.oracle.com

• Run the Universal Installer: 
  
  $ /runInstaller 
  
  When the "Select a Product to Install" screen appears, select "Oracle Database 10g Products 10.2.0.1.0".  This will install several components: jdbc drivers, SQLJ, Database examples, Oracle Text Knowledge, NCOMP, Intermedia Image Accelerator, 
  Ultrasearch and Workflow.

Note: it is not possible to install only Oracle Ultra Search component. 


3. Reapply the patchset if you already applied one 

4. Rerun the catupgrd.sql script. 

You can ignore the errors errors regarding the unique constraints violation which occur because 
catupgrd.sql was run twice 

Then Ultrasearch should be upgraded and status will be VALID.

原因為這個元件在10g安裝包裡面沒有，需要額外安裝companion包，ID 375620.1有說明

在升級前，執行升級預檢指令碼utlu102i.sql時，已經有提示

Companion 包只有10.2.0.1介質，在已經升級到10.2.0.5之後，安裝過程如下：

1.runInstaller調出oui，選擇升級完成後的oracle_home

2.選擇10.2.0.1的資料庫元件

3.安裝完後，再打10.2.0.5patch

4.完成後應用其他補丁

5.startup upgrade

   @?/rdbms/admin/catupgrd.sql
