Olsnodes Produces CPU Spikes With Many Logs [ID 729349.1]

        客戶的資料庫是Oracle 11.1.0.6 RAC for AIX，在其中一個節點，執行topas命令，olsnodes程式的CPU消耗一直排在最前面，檢視METALINK，發現這是Oracle資料庫在該版本的一個bug，相關資訊如下：

This problem can occur on any platform.

Symptoms

Olsnodes produces CPU spikes with many css*.log files in CRS_HOME/log//client directory
These css*.log files have a message saying: "olsnodes successful".


Cause

The issue has been identified and fixed with unpublished Bug 6004127.
When executing olsnodes successfully, it scans $CRS_HOME/log//client directory and generates a new cssxxx.log file.



Solution

Remove the log files under $ORA_CRS_HOME/log//client/css*.log in regular intervals with a cronjob.

Unpublished Bug 6004127 has been fixed in 11.1.0.7 and  10.2.0.4 CRS bundle Patch #2 onwards. Bundle Patch information is available in Note 756671.1
