不明白INFORMIX為什麼不對錶的最大擴充套件個數給出個固定值。所以今天就按照《效能指南》第6章即P163頁來測試了一下不同頁大小的表各自的預設初始擴充套件、下一個擴充套件資料塊以及一個表允許的最大擴充套件數。以下是測試結果和測試過程。
頁大小 extent_size frcnt 最大擴充套件個數
2k 8,8 1844 1844/8=230
4k 4,4 3982 3982/8=497
8k 4,4 7988 7988/8=998

結論：較大的頁有更好的擴容性。
