Oracle 10G Beta版在Win2000上安裝的Bug (轉)[@more@]

最近從朋友處得到了一份10G的Beta版本.在過程中,遇到了一個小插曲,寫在這裡供大家參考.

我的機器是PIII700,2000+Service Pack4.

點選Setup.exe之後,出現的視窗資訊如下:

從中看出,Oracle居然不支援Service Pack 4,不過按照常理來說,Service Pack新版本都是和舊版本相容的.稍加分析,可以斷定這是個小.在Oracle的這個Beta版本出來之前還沒有Service Pack4.

看看第一行資訊,使用的是G:Oracle10GDisk1installwin32oraparam.ini這個引數,那麼是不是一些條件的邊界值是在這裡定義的呢?

找到該檔案,開啟,分析一下,果真是定義的一些檢測的邊界值.發現有這麼兩行:

SERVICE_PACK=1,2,3

可以看出,定義的是Service Pack的版本.OK,把它修改成:
SERVICE_PACK=1,2,3,4

重新執行Setup.exe .看到驗證資訊如下:

已經透過.安裝......

再回過頭來,分析一下Disk1installwin32oraparam.ini這個檔案,可以看出安裝的最小條件是:
CPU=300
256色解析度
在NT4上安裝需要SP6

從中看出Oracle10G在Windows平臺上可能新加了一個檢測檔案．利用這個檔案內容判定是否符合安裝條件．

不知道正式版本中是不是這樣．
