Job responsibility:
1.Consult on overall architecture
2.Provide perspective on industry trends, future directions
3.Recommend next generation development tools and techniques
4.Experiment with and provide benefits for various web 2.0 tool sets
5.Strong communication link with Canada (ongoing collaboration)
6.Initiation and oversight of technical documentation
7.Effective communication across developers and business leaders
8.Create architecture prototypes / develop frameworks
9.General application development

Job Requirements:
1. 8+ years industry experience, 10+ years Java development experience in a web application environment
2. 3+ years J2EE web application architecture development (Websphere, JavaScript, JSP, Servlets, XML, webservices, etc)
3. Excellent knowledge and extensive experience in Object Oriented Design and use of Design Patterns
4. Broad knowledge of the Java Platform with specialization in the creation of multi-tiered applications
5. Proven track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow through on projects
6. Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to other technical staff members as well as non-technical members of the organization
7. Experience creating technical documentation in various forms
8. Excellent English written and verbal skills are essential
