微軟稱windows10系統安裝基數比win7系統大的多

　　根據市場份額觀察機構Netmarketshare的說法，Windows 10要超越Windows 7還有很長一段的路要走，不過，Windows Defender Reseaech的首席小組經理Tanmay Ganacharya在釋出在Microsoft Secure官方部落格的一篇文章中聲稱，和Windows 7相比，Windows 10有著“更大的安裝基數”。
　　他的原文如下：
　　From June to November, Windows 7 devices were 3.4 times more likely to encounter ransomware compared to Windows 10 devices. Considering that Windows 10 has a much larger install base than Windows 7, this difference in ransomware encounter rate is significant.
　　自6月起至11月止，和Windows 10裝置相比，Windows 7裝置遭遇勒索軟體的可能性是前者的3.4倍。考慮到Windows 10的安裝基數比Windows 7要大得多，勒索軟體遭遇率的差異非常顯著。

　　微軟此前已經確認，截至2017年11月底，Windows 10每月的活躍使用者為6億。NetMarketShare釋出於2018年1月1日的一份報告（訊息源自MSPowerUser）披露，目前。Windows 7的全球份額為43.08%，Windows 10的全球份額為32.93%。這和Tanmay Ganacharya的說法可能略有出入，不過我們可以推測，微軟有更直接、更準確的方式來衡量其作業系統的市場份額。
