Coursera一直是一個很好的線上學習視訊，從中獲益良多。Coursera可以免費旁聽，也可以付費學習獲得學位，但是旁聽是無法參加作業批改的，包括程式設計Autograder和peer review。這裡介紹下如何免費上Coursera，作為學生，如何白嫖是門學問$_$

先介紹下怎麼免費旁聽，這個在漫長的助學金申請季可以先學習或者不在意證照以及批改作業功能的孩子可以用 ?
P.S.這裡教程就方便大部分人，換成中文網頁，英文網頁一樣

1. 選擇想學習的課程，選擇免費註冊
   
2. 然後Coursera提供7天免費試用，但是我們在下角可以看到旁聽按鈕，就可以開始免費上課了
   
3. 但是作業，包括Quiz、Assignment這些可以做，但是無法批改

所以，如果想看看自己學習結果，追求更好上課體驗的可以申請助學金啦。

申請流程

1. 在剛才看到的課程網站，免費註冊旁邊有著有助學金的就是可以申請助學金的，如果沒有就是不可以申請，很多Coursera自己搞的課貌似就不行，只能乖乖交錢，畢竟平臺還是要恰飯的嘛
   

2. 審閱申請需要15天，申請成功會郵件通知，點選繼續申請
   

3. 然後兩個√上，以及複製貼上一下，英文頁面也是，只是換了英文，點選繼續
   

4. 然後介面是這樣，教育背景、年收入、工作情況這些不需要糾結，填填就好。
   

5. 我就填0了，當然別填那些分分鐘幾百萬的 ?
   背景我就這樣了，一般沒影響
   

6. 然後是重頭戲，主要是兩個，為什麼申請，申請有什麼用。分別要150w+，英文！！！！

   然後建議就是僅供參考哦，畢竟Coursera提供助學金是非常感激的，如果大家用同一個模板，整個助學金申請因此受到負面影響就不好了 ?

   思路

   主要是這幾點
   1）我窮你貴，小貓咪又有什麼錢呢
   2）我很喜歡這門課，能幫我學到什麼，短期利益遠期利益，不用太詳細
   3）我真的很窮，我也真的很喜歡這門課
   4）審批官大人請可憐可憐我吧

   模板

   放我自己的模板，由於我自己主要都是申請DS方面的，所以每次其實只要改下課程名字(斜線部分)就好了，如果是其他方向的，其實也只要改改中間幾句話。

   Dear reviewers, I am a college student at Wuhan University which located in China. As a student, I am dependent on my family and have no income. My income is barely enough to cover my living expense, which means that I don’t have extra money to register for the class. However, this course (Applied Machine Learning in Python) really attracts me because I want to learn more about data science and how to become a data scientist while my department does not offer such courses. Furthermore, I want to apply for a program related to data science. Such courses will make sense during application. Without a job, I don’t want to put more financial burden on my family. I really appreciate Coursera offering such an opportunity for financial aid and I promise to finish my course if admitted.

   小作文2：如何幫助實現職業目標

   思路

   我的主要是這幾點
   1）該課程我其他地方學不到
   2）該課程質量高，自學效率低
   3）講下目前或者未來職業規劃，課程相關程度高
   4）也可以提下職業特性，比如前景好，發展迅速，需要學習新知識
   5）自己學了這個能怎麼用，其實也可以提下對研究方面的作用
   anway,可以寫的點很多，大家自己發揮~

   模板

   其實偷懶每次可能直接套用，或者稍微改下即可。所以建議還是有自己的模板，方便自己有針對性的改。

   Dear reviewers, though I major in remote sensing information science and learn something related to data science and something about python during my research, I have not learned data science systematically. After realizing self-learning may cost a lot of unnecessary time and energy, I turn to online courses for help, where such a course is one of them. Moreover, I want to apply to a program related to data science and maybe become a data scientist for my career. Such a course may help me have a better understanding of data science and how to use it properly with Python.
   What is equally worth mentioning is that data science, as a new field, is becoming a new trend for the whole world. After my preliminary learning with data science, it really attracts me by its amazing abilities to deal with big data, which can be used in all aspects of life. Furthermore, it helps in my recent research, which focuses on the big data of geoscience.
   As I have learned the related courses at the University of Michigan and I really learn a lot from these courses, I want to obtain more knowledge.
