create a database steps

Database



 
	

		 
	

	

		

			1.     ORACLE_SID=test
		

		

			       export ORACLE_SID
		

		

			
		

		

			

       env | grep ORA
		

		

			


		

		

			2.     orapwd FILE=$ORACLE_HOME/dbs/orapwtest password=asdjkl ENTRIES=10 force=y
		

		

			


		

		

			3.     Create the Initialization Parameter File
		

		

			        cd $ORACLE_HOME/dbs
		

		

			        cat init.ora |grep -v ^# > ./inittest.ora
		

		

			        vi inittest.ora
		

		

			     change DB_NAME, CONTROL_FILES,MEMORY_TARGET
		

		

			


		

		

			4.     copy  Step 9: Issue the CREATE DATABASE Statement
		

		

			       There are 2 parameters need to be changed ( db_name , undotbs_name base on init.ora)
		

		

			       also you can adjust your datafile location
		

		

			


		

		

			5      sqlplus / as sysdba
		

		

			       startup nomount
		

		

			       execute create_db script
		

		

			


		

		

			6.     @?/rdbms/admin/catalog.sql
		

		

			       @?/rdbms/admin/catproc.sql
		

		

			       conn system/system_passwd
		

		

			       @?/sqlplus/admin/pupbld.sql
