Installing the Enterprise Manager Cloud Control 12c fails at the copy binaries step with the error 'Unable to continue with the installation because some one-off patches could not be applied successfully'

Cause

Ther is no space available in the filesystem:

/dev/mapper/VolGroup01-db
                      30G   28G  355M  99% /db

99% already used.

Solution

1.) Increase the space in the server as per 12c installation documentation

2.) Cleanup the existing installation following the documentation

Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control Basic Installation Guide 12c Release 2 (12.1.0.2)

3.) Start a new installation
