Symptoms

When clufvy is executed either directly or as part of rootupgrade.sh or similar, messages similar to the following are reported:

ERROR:
An internal error occurred within cluster verification framework
The command executed was   /tmp/CVU_11.2.0.2.0_oradba/exectask.sh -getver. The output from the command was /tmp/CVU_11.2.0.2.0_oradba/exectask.sh: /tmp/CVU_11.2.0.2.0_oradba/exectask: not found
Version of exectask could not be retrieved from node "nodename"


Changes

New Grid Infrastructure 11.2.0.2 install or during an upgrade

Cause

The directory /tmp/CVU_11.2.0.2.0_ does not contain all the expected files. The files called by exectask.sh are missing.

Solution

Remove /tmp/CVU_11.2.0.2.0_ on all nodes and execute the cluvfy command again.
