Small Talk - [Toastmater CC1]

SMALL TALK.  
Hi Everyone, I am robin. I believe you guy had already known me well, so by this chance I want to talk something else. Something small.
Two years ago, one day, I replied one guy’s post about English club on the website, then he replied   are you interested in English club, if yes, you can join us.  I linked this guy, and then I knew his name is Nason.  Two years later finally I join this club, and today I am giving my first prepared speech.
Four years ago, one day, my little daughter came to me, and asked me to peel an apple for her.  I was peeling apple for her, then I ate apple peel, and it tastes good. She was watching me curiously. Suddenly I thought I could give a love education. “Hi beibei, if I grew old one day, what would you do for papa?” She looked at me in quite seriously way, “I will peel the apple to feed you the apple peel.” Then she took the apple, and ran away.
Six years ago, one day, I made a call with my wife. I said I wanted to join the Accenture, but it was in another city, which meant I have to leave family for a while. She said would you benefit from it? I said yes, then she said, OK, just go for your dream.
Ten years ago, I remembered that was a morning, I sat in the financial office, I saw a beautify mp3 player. I could not help picking up this gorgeous thing. A girl suddenly appear. I knew her, actually I like her, but I was so shame. At that moment I didn’t know what she would say. “If you broke it, you need to pay for it.”  I was thinking for a while.  “Yes, I will Pay Back All My Life!” One year later, we got married.
Thirteen year ago, One day at June, I started my first job after graduation. At the end of first month, there was a session called Talk to management.   At that session, I stood up, and then I said, I felt this work was kind of boring.  I could not find the passion in it. At the evening dinner, the general manager invited me to his table, and he made a toast. Robin, bottom up, you can find the passion in this cup.  Seven months later, I quit that job and left that company.
 
Just look back what happened in last 13 years.  I found my life linked to those small talk.  About change, love, career, education, hobby.
Today I am standing on this stage.   You may see nothing on my hand, but I have to tell you it is not true.
If I clench fist, you can feel the power.
