主機環境基本上和前面文章中描述的SOLARIS10安裝Oracle1106rac的環境基本完全一致，最主要的區別在於沒有了VOLUMN CLUSTER MANAGER，於是這裡打算使用Oracle的ASM。由於安裝操作沒有什麼區別，所以這次安裝選擇了SILENT靜默模式來安裝RAC。

描述SILENT模式下資料庫軟體的安裝過程。

上一篇已經進行了安裝前的檢查，而且設定好了response檔案，下面就可以直接進行安裝了：

WARNING:
The following configuration scripts need to be executed as the "root" user in each cluster node.

To execute the configuration scripts:
    1. Open a terminal window
    2. Log in as "root"
    3. Run the scripts in each cluster node

The installation of Oracle Database 11g was successful.
Please check '/data/oraInventory/logs/silentInstall2008-09-02_02-17-22PM.log' for more details.

下面在兩個節點分別以root執行/data/oracle/product/11.1/database/root.sh指令碼。

由於採用silent安裝模式，所以指令碼建立的時候自動將OUI_SILENT引數設定為TRUE，而後的檢查中，如果發現這個值為TRUE，那麼這個指令碼執行會自動退出了。這裡需要手工將其修改為FALSE，然後使用root執行：

注意在執行上面的命令的時候，‘.’和‘/’之間是沒有空格的，否則會使指令碼陷入死迴圈中。

至此Oracle的軟體安裝完成。
