【OCM】Oracle Database 10g: Performance Tuning（一）

今天開始了在OU為期4天的OCM課程“Oracle Database 10g: Performance Tuning”。

“調優”本身就是一個非常大的概念，涉及到知識點之廣，要求的技能之全面都是其他方面無法比擬的。在調優的過程中需要全盤考慮。因此調優課程往往也是最難將的，如果沒有實戰經驗是很難講好的。

該課程整體內容如下：

Lesson 5: Using Statspack
Lesson 6: Using Automatic Workload Repository

Lesson 9: Tuning the Buffer Cache
Lesson 10: Automatic Shared Memory Management
Lesson 11: Checkpoint and Redo Tuning
Lesson 12: Tuning I/O
Lesson 13: Tuning PGA and Temporary Space
Lesson 14: Tuning Block Space Usage
Lesson 15: Performance Tuning: Summary

從章節安排上看，基本上還是從調優概念著手進行組織的。如果嚴格按照課件上的內容進行講解將會非常枯燥和無味的。
慶幸的是講師沒有侷限在課件本身，而是根據自己的教學和調優經驗來組織的課程內容。尤其是對第一章的概述內容做了非常精彩的經驗分享，真的很難得。
因為我曾經也對資料庫調優有過一些總結和分享，很多內容與講師的經歷不謀而合，真是有種相見恨晚的感覺。在課後的交流中，很多觀點也不謀而合。志同道合，樂趣無窮。

今天完成了前4章內容的講解和經驗分享。
