As of today, Oracle 10gR2 RAC is not yet certified on SUSE10 platform. There are following things need to be taken care of when set it up:
1. ipv6 section of /etc/hosts need to be removed
2. runInstaller -ignoreSysPrereqs
3. comment out the LD_ASSUME_KERNEL section from vipca script
4. comment out the LD_ASSUME_KERNEL section from srvctl script
5. use oifcfg to create vip which failed in installation
